MY THEORY ON THE NATURE OF HUMAN BEINGS

You think that lady’s nice? Think again.

Have you ever had the queasy feeling about someone doing nice things for you? Have you ever felt you’re more comfortable with a biyatch than with a goody-two-shoes (excuse me for the labels but hey, that’s life.)?

That’s because there’s nicey-nice and nice-nice and bitchy-bitch and bitch-bitch. This is how I judge people (I’ve said this many times before. I’m not a fair person, and I’m judgmental.). When other people look at it, it may seem like I’m judging people by their cover. Actually, I judge them by their content. Only, I don’t read the entire book. I just read through a bit and there I pass my judgment. I rarely read through the book till the end, by then, you must be my friend already (to have sustained my interest for that long).

Before I said there were only four kinds of people. People I love, people I like, people I don’t care about, and people who must disappear. Well now I have another way of looking at people (still falls under the four classifications above). Also four: nicey-nice (NyN), nice-nice (NN), bitchy-bitch (ByB), bitch-bitch (BB). What about it?

The nice-nice (NN) class is ok. So-so. Couldn’t really hurt a fly. No tinge of evil. Purely nice. :) These are the people I like. They’re there. No noise, no scandals. Always ready to lend a helping hand, without asking for anything in return. I always make it a point to remember and return the favor, if fate allows it. The problem with this class is just that. They do these things for you and somehow you feel obliged to return the favor coz they’re so nice and always the underdawg and all that shit.

The worst of all these four is the nicey-nice (NyN) class. The NyN is BB perfectly wrapped as an NN. This is why sometimes I shudder when an NyN smiles at me or does good things for me. The thing about the NyN person is that they get around, people just love them, they’re even nicer than the NN coz these people, they GO OUT OF THEIR WAY to be nice. And they’re nice all the time. They never miss a spot. It’s creepy really, when you’re around these people. Sometimes I think maybe they’re really nice, but then again… They do bad things in the sweetest way, and you can’t go around being mean to these people, coz then you’re a bad person. See what I mean? These are the people I want to disappear.

The bitchy-bitch (ByB) is the class I don’t care about. These people are actually harmless, but act like one. Barking dogs. Too much noise, not much difference. Oh come on, why don’t you just be NN? Let go of your childhood traumas and just let it flow. Hard to act around these people coz they don’t like it if yer nice to them. You have to always pretend to be biyatchy around ‘em even if yer just bondin’ and all.

The bitch-bitch (BB) class rules!!! The people I love. The people who will hurt me when I deserve it, love me when I deserve it. You don’t feel obliged to be nice to these people. You don’t have to act around these people. You don’t have to be afraid to be mean to them. All you have to do is be real around the BB. I say, these are the real dawgs. Easiest to tame.

And that’s my theory on the nature of human beings. There are only really two and the other two are surrogates. The NyNs are really BBs but they like to act like NNs and end up in a class of their own. The ByBs are really NNs but the same thing – the try so hard to be like BBs.
